Scar Salve

Crafted with the intention of reducing the appearance of new and existing scars, this salve makes for a tender ritual that can aid in the healing process of scars. 

Apply to scar daily. Only for use on scars that have scabbed over!

why it works:

Calendula has anti-inflammatory, antiviral, and anti-fungal properties, and helps to stimulate tissue and collagen production. It’s also rich in antioxidants that help soothe and soften the skin.

Lavender is just as soothing and healing for the skin as it is both antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory, helping to reduce redness and scarring. It can help speed up the healing process if applied consistently early on once the wound has scabbed over.

Rosehips are rich in antioxidants and vitamins and increases collagen production. It's super hydrating and regenerative, and promotes new skin growth which helps to correct UV damage, scarring and heal eczema and acne.

Comfrey contains allantoin and is high in tannins, which helps new skin cells grow and heals at a cellular levels, which helps to reduce inflammation and keep skin healthy. It has also been known to speed up the process of wound healing.

Ingredients: beeswax, lavender oil, calendula oil, rosehip oil, comfrey oil, vitamin e (all organic).
